Japan Expo 2026 puts Japanese music in the spotlight with YOSHIKI, Kyary Pamyu Pamyu, yama, Cö shu Nie, Shô Kiryuin and more.

Japan Expo 2026 is set to once again transform Paris into one of Europe’s leading destinations for Japanese culture. Among this year’s highlights, music will take center stage through a series of concerts and special events featuring some of the most prominent names in the Japanese scene.
One of the festival’s biggest attractions will be Anisong Festa, a special event dedicated to anime songs and Japanese pop culture, bringing together artists from a wide range of musical backgrounds.

Among the announced guests is Shoko Nakagawa, singer, actress and TV personality, widely recognized for her long-standing connection with the anime industry.
Also joining the lineup is Cö shu Nie, known internationally for performing theme songs for series such as Tokyo Ghoul, PSYCHO-PASS 3 and Jujutsu Kaisen, becoming one of the most distinctive acts in contemporary Japanese music.
Another major highlight will be yama, one of the fastest-rising artists in Japan and one of the festival’s most anticipated performances.
Anisong Festa will also feature Mika Kobayashi, internationally known for her work on anime and video game soundtracks, including Attack on Titan, alongside UMIKUN, STARRYSKY and Mitsu.

One of the festival’s biggest attractions will also be Kyary Pamyu Pamyu, one of the most iconic figures in modern J-pop. Known around the world for her unique artistic style and her influence on Japanese pop culture and fashion, her appearance at Japan Expo is expected to be one of the standout moments of this year’s edition.

The festival will also welcome back YOSHIKI, leader of X Japan and The Last Rockstars, who will celebrate the 25th anniversary of Japan Expo with a special concert in Paris.

Meanwhile, Shô Kiryuin, vocalist of Golden Bomber, will perform with his unique air band style, blending music and entertainment.

Fans of Japan’s alternative scene will also have the opportunity to discover Mercuro, a group attracting increasing attention through a unique world that combines death metal influences, visual kei culture and bold fashion aesthetics.
By bringing together legendary musicians, established artists and emerging acts, Japan Expo 2026 once again confirms its position as one of Europe’s most important events for Japanese music fans.
